Letter to Prospective Employer

It is said that that three most stressful events in a lifetime for any one are - death of Spouse , Divorce and Job Change. Job change one would wonder.Well all those who have changed jobs, would vouch for the fact that they have had prolonged periods when they were doubtful about continuing. Well It sets me thinking , like reverse feedback  why not reverse resume from prospective employer to share information desired of them, which is generally not available in public domain. A Resume of Employer with minimum disclosures . Therefore I wrote down a draft of a letter.

 It would be interesting to gauge reaction to a letter that may be written by prospective employee to his/her prospective employer. Reaction of employer HR head. Do you think the candidate would be shortlisted?


Dear Prospective Employer

I am excited after reading up the detailed job description that you have posted. I do believe that my profile & exposure fits the requirements of the role on offer. I am sharing my resume for your consideration. In case you need more information and / or clarifications, do let me know and I would be most happy to provide you that.
A small request though only when you are keen to meet me, is to share the resume of your organization covering the following:
1.       Results of last 2 Employee satisfaction study ( assuming it is conducted)
2.       Attrition rate against benchmark in Industry
3.       Confirmation on whether the HR operations is automated
4.        Process & actions taken to evaluate the organization / business processes adherence / alignment with core values
5.       Training spend per employee / as % of profits / as % of Turnover
I assume that most of the information is confidential and you may not like to put it in writing. In such a situation let us talk about these.
